OK, so you want to build a racing lawn mower. PALMRA's download page is a great place to start. This is where you will find the documentation to get you ready for the track.

All of the mowchines that race under the PALMRA name are built to the USLMRA rule book, so start by downloading that. Next your going to want some hints and tips, and probably after reading the rule book, you will be scrathing your head trying to make sense of it all. Thats why we created the PALMRA build clinic book.

So maybe you have been to a race and you have seen all the different classes. You want to go faster than a stock mower, but you don't want to spend the money to build a screaming race engine. On the other hand, you have read the rule book for the IMOW class and you really don't want to have to deal with all the restrictions on the driveline and tire sizes. PALMRA has the class for you. Wait, theres more. Maybe your significant other (best friend, brother, whoever)has built one of these mowchines. You want to be supportive, and your going to be at the track, but racing a lawn mower just isn't for you. Why not check out our volunteer Chase for the Cup. 2010 USLMRA Rule Book -This should be in your back pocket as you build, it also doesn't hurt to have it in your toolbox on race day.
